Who we are
LogMeds is made by Jet Creative Ltd (“we”). We are responsible for the personal data described here. You can reach us at contact@jetcreative.co.uk.
What we store
- Your account: first name, surname, email address and a securely hashed password. Your full name identifies you in the app and in Apple Shortcuts.
- What you record: the medicines, doses, reminders, tablet counts, blood-pressure readings and blood-glucose readings you enter, for yourself and for the people you track.
- Professional accounts: any location labels you give the people you support, such as a room or ward.
- Sharing: who you have invited to see your log, and who has invited you.
Some of this is health information. We store it only to provide the service to you, and only because you choose to enter it.
Why we are allowed to use it
We use your account details to provide the service you signed up for (performance of a contract, UK GDPR and EU GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
Health information is a special category of data. We process it only with your explicit consent (Article 9(2)(a)), which you give when you enter it. You can withdraw that consent at any time by deleting the entries, or by deleting your account in the app under Settings.
If you record information about someone else, for example a relative or a person in your care, you are responsible for having their agreement or another lawful reason to do so. Care organisations using LogMeds remain the controller of the records their staff keep.
What we do not do
No adverts, no analytics or tracking tools, and no selling or renting of your data. We never use it for marketing.
Who can see it
Only you, and the people you explicitly share your log with after they accept your invitation. Sharing is one-way and you can stop it at any time.
Where it is kept
Your data is stored on our server behind logmeds.com and sent over encrypted HTTPS connections. The iPhone app also keeps a copy on your device so it works offline.
Subscriptions and payments
Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple through your Apple ID. We never see your card details. Apple’s own privacy policy covers that payment.
Web sign-in protection
The web sign-in form may use Google reCAPTCHA to block automated abuse. When it does, Google receives information about your browser under Google’s privacy policy. The iPhone app does not use reCAPTCHA.
How long we keep it
For as long as your account exists. Entries you delete go to a recycle bin first so a mistake can be undone.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR and EU GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and everything in it. Email contact@jetcreative.co.uk from the address on your account and we will act within one month. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk) or, in Poland, to the Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych (uodo.gov.pl).
Not a medical device
LogMeds is a record-keeping and reminder tool. It is not a medical device and does not give medical advice. Colour labels on readings follow published reference ranges and are for information only.
Children
A parent or guardian may track a child’s medicines under their own account. Children should not create an account themselves.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date above, and tell you in the app if the change is significant.
